Thanksgiving Weekend

We spent Thanksgiving in Manteca this year. On our way to Grandma and Grandpa B's house we stopped off for a visit and photo shoot with Dylan's cousin's. We were hoping to get some good shots to use for Christmas gifts. After the top secret photo shoot we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's and had a really excellent day filled with family. We spent the night and the next day Lynda celebrated her birthday by getting up at 5AM for Black Friday and going to Best Buy! Before we headed home we had a nice walk through Grandma and Grandpa's almond orchard.

Dylan's 2nd Birthday

Dylan turned two today. I can't believe how fast the time has flown by. Part of me wants so much to hang on to him as a little baby, but each day, each new discovery is more amazing. It really does just get better and better. We started off the day with singing and birthday hats. I had the day off from work so Dylan and I watched the "Sunnyside Up Show" on Sprout. They showed the card I sent in on TV! We also went to JCPenney to get pictures taken, had a visit with Santa, played in the Tanforan play area and went out to lunch at Red Robin. Dylan got to have a sundae (his first one) and the waitstaff sang to him. I think he thought it was all pretty cool.

My sweet little baby is now a boy.

Dylan is 2!

Dylan's birthday party was Saturday November 17. Dylan LOVES cars, so we had a car theme. Family came from as far as Fowler, Lodi and Manteca for the party. We also celebrated with some dear friends. Our friend Steve made the cake, some great mini cupcakes and some 2 cookies- I also made some 2 cookies, but his were better. Our friend Courtney helped take pictures. There were presents, cake and a pinata. It was a very good day. Dylan is a very lucky boy. I can't believe how fast he has grown!

Halloween!

We had a fabulous Halloween this year. I got the day off and Grandpa and Grandma R. came to Pacifica to go to the pumpkin patch with Dylan's Toddler Time class. After we all rested up, we took Dylan out to trick or treat in the neighborhood. What a great day!
